Although several single-use linen products are presently being marketed, penetration has been limited due to their inability to meet critical performance factors. The majority of existing products are comprised of either 100% paper or 100% plastic materials and targeted for use primarily in the ambulance segment of the marketplace. These products have not received wide acceptance because of the materials used and the lack of positive performance attributes. Fiber-Tec Innovative Bedding Solutions Fiber-Tec's primary products comprise a line of single-use bedding linen trade named FibS® : "Fiber-Tec Innovative Bedding Solutions". In addition to fitted and flat sheets for gurneys and pillowcases, our product offering includes high quality single use Scrub sets, Exam gowns, and blankets, with additional products planned for the future.
The primary raw material used in our products is a nonwoven, hydroentangled fabric composed of 55% wood pulp and 45% polyester. It is made at a world class ISO 9002 certified facility. The fabric is then converted into our various product offerings using our own patented, proprietary process which gives them the strength, absorbency and softness which competing products do not have. It is this patented conversion process which uniquely positions FibS products to surpass performance expectations, to actually provide a superior alternative to ordinary reusable linen in instances of high linen loss, and to replace reusable linen in the emergency department and ambulance transport markets. |
